This past May, the Regis Corporation (Edina, MN) announced that it had acquired 286 salons from Opal Concepts. The acquisition includes 90 company-owned and 196 franchised salons located primarily in the western and southwestern United States. The franchised salons operate under the Pro-Cuts name and are located primarily in Texas. Acquired company-owned salons in this transaction include Carlton Hair International, Hair By Stewarts, American Hair Force, and Haircuts Plus.
