Argent becomes Insure-shop
ARGENT INSURANCE Group is to rebrand its branches to `insure-- shop'.
Paul Dodds, managing director of Argent, says, "The rebrand programme is an integral part of our strategy for growth. Having made a number of successful acquisitions during the past year, we are focussing on presenting a cohesive brand and image throughout our network."
Argent Insurance Group became part of Cox in February 2000 and has since grown its network from 6 to 18 branches with the acquisition of Apex Insurance, the Tomlinson Group, Broughton Astley and Bourne Swann.
"Insure-shop" derives from the brand launched by Cox last year - insure which benefits from a consumer marketing campaign in the press, TV, mailshots and TV sponsorship.
In addition to cosmetic enhancements, the insure-shops will each be equipped with the new brokersure.co.uk system being launched by Cox.
The first branch to benefit from the rebrand is Melton Mowbray. The rebrand programme will he rolled out to the entire branch network over the next few months.
