WHK Horwath, now Australia's fifth largest accounting firm, achieved record growth in 2007 and is poised to expand further this year.
Following significant acquisitions and rong performance from existing practices, the firm is in an outstanding position to deliver greater value than ever to Australia's business sector.
A notable highlight of the past year was the Group's launch of a new brand, WHK Horwath, for its capital city offices. The rebranded firm plans to continue the story of growth by becoming the fifth-largest accounting firm in each Australian capital, as well as being the nation's fifth-largest overall.
The heritage of the new name will be known to many in accounting and business, with some of the Group's larger offices called WHK Greenwoods for a number of years. Mid-way through last year the newly branded practices were launched after the WHK Group joined with Horwath International, one of the world's leading accounting affiliations. On 1 July 2007, WHK's three large offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth each changed their name to WHK Horwath.
