Kodak Versamark inkjet printing system
If you are after the best variable data printing solution available in the marketplace, you need look no further

If ever there is one single product that reinforces the message that print is the preferred method to get a message home even in to the thickest of skulls it has to be the Kodak Versamark. On show at Drupa this awesome machine more neatly solves the problems and challenges of effective variable data printing than any other I have come across.
I have always taken great interest in using variable data within a pre-printed sheet and quite candidly I was impressed with those pioneering efforts of Reader's Digest to exploit dot matrix print drivers. Today this technology has matured into extremely sophisticated laser and inkjet solutions, particularly for utilities and similar billings and transactional statements.
Pushing the technology
Good those these solutions are, I believe that the Versamark inkjet printing system or something like it, is set to push other technologies to the outer fringes of communications printing. Here is technology whose time has come and the reason for suggesting this I will deal with later, for the reasons for suggesting this are not quite as obvious as you would think.
