New York City-Despite reports stating that Arthur Andersen has walked away from its 650,000-sf lease at Boston Properties' Times Square Tower here, an executive with the REIT says the deal is not quite dead. Boston Properties senior vice president Robert E. Selsam said that negotiations with the accounting firm are ongoing. "We are in discussions concerning full or partial termination of their lease at Times Square Tower," Selsam admitted. "These discussions have not concluded. We expect a conclusion in the near future." Selsam added that construction of the building continues on schedule and the firm has received expressions of interest from many potential tenants.
