A family owned construction company will break ground this Thursday on its first project, a $12 million retirement community in Twinsburg.
Wesley Construction Co.'s project, the Grande Village Retirement Community, will include separate buildings for independent living and assisted living. A third building will house residents who require less than 120 days of skilled care.
Four siblings will own and operate the retirement community, which will be built on 12 acres in Twinsburg along Route 82 just east of I-480.
Marie Swaim, Margaret Franklin, Norane Price and Jack Hopkins set up Wesley Construction in December 1992 to build the community. The Smiltars & Associates architectural firm in Solon designed the project.
