UTICA - Xerox Corp. will close its Utica manufacturing facility in March, eliminating 265 job, as pad of - a $220-million deal with Singapore-based Flextronics. Xerox is transferring manufacturing rights for its line of office products to Flextronics in exchange for cash and assumption of liabilities. The move is part of ongoing restructuring at Xerox involving the sale of $2 billion in company assets and $750 million in cost reductions over the past year, says Bill McKee, Xerox spokesman.
