St. Paul developer Dick Zehring may demolish a small building in downtown Minneapolis to make way for a high-end condominium project.
Zehring, owner of MSP Cos., purchased the approximately 5,000square-foot vacant building for $450,000 from CBS Broadcasting Inc., which owns WCCO-TV, according to Hennepin County tax records. The deal closed in November.
The building at 1016 Marquette Ave. is located across the street from the Hilton Minneapolis & Towers and on the same block as a proposed 46-story condo tower that, if built, would face...
