Abstract

In this article the author shows the features of the mechanism of updating the customary law of the Don Cossacks during the second half of the XIX century based on the regulation of legal guardianship of minors and those of under age. These issues have not yet been the subject of a scientific study of any historical and legal nor historical and ethnological sciences.
