project goal
The CHIALA association organizes the African Literature Days in Graz in May 2022 and 2023. They are intended to contribute to a differentiated examination of Africa and promote awareness of the complexity of the continent. Readings by writers of African origin are intended to increase the visibility of African literature and thus promote a differentiated public perception of African communities. The Literature Days want to raise awareness of the value of a diverse cultural society and encourage a differentiated examination of Africa in a global context.
