Interpol President Ahmed Naser Al-Raisi stressed, On Tuesday, in Luanda, Angola's contribution to the fight against drug trafficking, smuggling of firearms, vehicles, precious stones and human trafficking in the African region.
Ahmed Naser Al-Raisi made these remarks during the opening of the 26th African Regional Conference of the International Organization of Criminal Police (Interpol), which runs until Thursday, at the Hotel Intercontinental, in Luanda, with the presence of 250 senior police officers and other continents.
The president of Interpol also praised the commitment of Angola in the fight against cybercrime, considering that this typology of Crime poses a serious threat to the African continent.
Participants are addressing the regional strategy Interpol, in the context of the repression and prevention of crime transnational corporations, with a focus on cybercrime, financial crimes and corruption, trafficking in human beings and terrorism.
