Wired Amazon and qAIRa, two innovative Peruvian companies, stand out as winners of the 2022 Green Awards, a renowned international festival in which more than 2,500 innovative socio-environmental initiatives from various Ibero-American countries related to the green economy competed.
The Wired Amazon project , from the company Rainforest Expeditions, was awarded in the Biodiversity (Fauna) Category for the transcendence of its proposal that promotes citizen science, through the creation of a network of scientists and tourists, to preserve the fauna of the Tambopata National Reserve, in Madre de Dios, while the startup qAira has been recognized in the Cities Category (Urban Community) for its impact on people's quality of life, through caring for the environment.
