The end of February is the time when, according to tradition, the All-Russian Fleet Support Movement (DFT) throughout the country holds conferences, round tables and other social and patriotic events timed for the birthday of the great Russian sailor, naval commander, Orthodox Saint Fedor Ushakov (1745- 1817).
On the last winter day at the Moscow Polytechnic Institute at the Ushakovsky conference-conference "Admiral Ushakov: serving Russia in the Black Sea-Mediterranean region, life after the dismissal from the Navy - an example of modern citizens of our Fatherland", on the initiative of the DFT, officers and admirals, shipbuilders and teachers, students and public figures of the capital, a number of regions of Russia and neighboring countries. A group of cadets of the Moscow State Academy of Water Transport, a branch of the State Medical Academy named after SO Makarov, arrived in Moscow Polytechnic University on Bolshaya Semenovskaya Street for participation in the conference.
