General Electric (GE) has launched a new manufacturing technology centre in Dammam. The new GE Energy Manufacturing Technology Centre provides services in the braoder Middle East region, Europe and Africa with innovative energy technology services as well as production. The centre is developed in association with Ali A Tamimi Company, GE s long-term joint venture partner.
GE is also investing $150 million more in a regional manufacturing hub of equipment for the energy industry, taking the total investment in the GE Energy Manufacturing Technology Centre to $250 million.
